my mum,dad and i decided to go there over my easter holiday period for 6 days. i know it's only a short time but boy i have to tell u it was the most amazing 6 days of my life!. first i went to meet my parents in heathrow airport on the 2nd of april. it was really good seeing them again. lol. we had lunch at the airport and did a little bit of catching up. after that, we took the 5 something flight to cairo. well it was supposed to fly off at 5 something but no we had a delay! a delay for freaking 2 hours. they kept us on the plane for 2 hours! i was furious. well basically it was because thaqt this airplane brought in a passenger with a suspicious bag and that led to a security matter. the police had to come to the airport to check the bag and the plane to make sure it was save to take off. we only took off at around 7 after the matter was cleared up. argghhh. we arrived cairo around 1 something in the morning and from then we met up with our driver and he took us straight to the hotel. i slept like a baby that night.
we only spent a day in cairo but within a day we saw a lot of things. the 3 amazing pyramids and the spinx. i tell u this was amazingly fantastic. the structure of the pyramids were still intact after all these years and i am talking about thousands and thousands of years ago. we got adducted by camel men in the pyramid area. lol. well this is very interesting. these camel men are like male gypsies. lol so this is what happened. basically i was taking pictures of the freaking camels and these men just came up to me and told me to get on the camel and to take a pic. they practically forced me to go on it and they took my parents as well.. then they took a photo of us and ask us for money!!!!!!! argghhh.. well i gave them 10 dollars but they wanted more.. they ask my dad for 1000 dollars and my dad got so mad and argued with them. they however got scared and returned the money.. lol. how funny. well we then went to the market and stuff and god i tell u NEVER EAT THERE!. i mean the area is okay but the food outlets were all open air and it's like the kopitiam in malaysia but worse and there are cats around.. argghh.. i hate cats. basically i didnt eat properly and i was so hungry so i felt really ill like vomiting. u cant buy anything in cairo cause these people jsut charge so high and even though u bargain it's still quite expensive and they will like draw u into their store and they will make u buy something. after the market we took a sleeping train to aswan to catch a 4 day,3 night cruise in the river nile, this cruise is phenomenal! i am telling u if u ever visit egypt the cruise is a MUST DO THING. was living in luxury for 4 days and it felt good. we had tours to temples while sailing and we had like parties on board. it's really fantastic. i met so much people all around the world. i met 1 from australia,1 from new zealand,1 from argentina and much more people. they are really fantastic. although i felt really sad to say goodbye to them when the cruise was over. after the 4 days, we toured around luxor for a couple of hours and then headed back to cairo for a night. i had the best shisha ever in egypt! and when i came back to england i bought my own shisha set! yay!
egypt is one of my dream place ever in my entire life and i am really thankful to get this opportunity to go there. then next place i wanna go is NY,LA,Miami,California and more. basically AMERICA! yup i love america! cant wait to go to south america this june for 55 days with my best friend! it will be truly amazing.=)
